Trudy Benson is an artist to watch. If you were able to catch her exhibit “Closer Than They Appear,” at Lyles & King Gallery then you know what we mean.

There is not much time left to see her current exhibit Cuts, Paints which runs through December 16th but you will have to head out to California and pay a visit to Team (bungalow) 306 Windward Avenue in order to experience it. Trudy Benson was Born in 1985, Richmond, VA and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. We hope to catch up with her soon and get a proper interview but in the meantime make sure you don’t sleep on this artist. Her work is truly extraordinary!!
